Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maluco Doideira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Slate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slate is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Sandstorm. Terry Slate will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Matheus Silva and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slate avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Doideira rushes Slate and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Doideira lands a left hand that snaps the head of Slate backwards.

Doideira is looking to break free of the clinch but Slate has double underhooks.
Slate wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Doideira has him pressed against the cage.
Slate is working for takedown but Doideira is calmly controlling the position for now.

Slate escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Doideira gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Doideira knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Slate on the ground.

Slate is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Slate throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Slate wants to lay and pray for a moment but Doideira keeps working.
Slate thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Doideira to regain full guard.
Doideira wants to get back to his feet but Slate is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Slate drops back looking for a leg! Doideira is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Doideira manages to kick Slate off! Slate jumps back into Doideira's guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Doideira wants to stand and escape but Slate is having none of it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Doideira throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Slate tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Doideira counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Terry Slate will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Doideira moves into range and clinches up with Slate.

Slate tries to land knees in the clinch but Doideira avoids the damage to the body.
Slate tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Doideira smiles and moves away.

and Doideira holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Doideira lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Slate.
Slate wants a takedown but no success here.
Maluco Doideira has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Terry Slate.

Slate turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Slate manages to end up in side control.

Doideira on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Doideira tries to get out of the position.

That's time! Doideira's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Doideira rushes Slate with punches - Slate moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Slate goes down! Doideira follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
