Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Antti Railio! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Roger Sparr! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sparr darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Sparr not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Sparr not landing any meaningful shots this time. Sparr working over Railio with some ground and pound. Railio looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sparr is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Railio is just riding it out for now. Sparr eventually gives up the hold. Sparr not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sparr missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Railio wants to improve his position but Sparr is controlling well.
Railio avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Sparr. Railio is staying active underneath Sparr, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Railio keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sparr is working for a submission of some sort.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Railio on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Railio on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Railio tries to get out of the position. Railio is staying active underneath Sparr, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Sparr wants to pass to mount but Railio is defending the position. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Sparr thows a huge punch but Railio dodges it nicely.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Railio looks to throw the jab but Sparr is out of range. Sparr wants to counter the offense by Railio and move into the clinch position. Sparr swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sparr shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Railio pinned against the cage. Railio gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Sparr looks to score with a jab to the body but Railio is just out of range. Sparr goes for a double leg but Railio avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Railio continues to drive forward. Railio was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Railio cracks Sparr with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Sparr looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Railio finish him?
Sparr is rocked!
It looks like Roger Sparr has been cut. Sparr circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Railio. Sparr falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Railio!
