Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bane Carter (ranked 2551 p4p, 3712 weight class) and Roger Uzi (ranked 327 p4p, 430 weight class). Uzi has chosen Driver's as his entrance music. Bane Carter could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Roger Uzi's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bane Carter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roger Uzi!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Andrew Berry and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Uzi manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Carter on his heels. He'll look to pass Carter's guard now, I'm sure.

Carter pushes Uzi off and gets back to his feet.
Uzi throws a lazy head kick
and Carter counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Carter throws a right and a left that both miss.
Uzi keeps the fight on the outside.

Uzi gets the takedown into side control.

Carter sneaks out the side door and pushes Uzi away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Carter is trying to keep Uzi in close.
Uzi won't allow Carter to get back to his feet.

Uzi looking to sit in guard and control but Carter gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Carter's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Carter wants to control from the top but Uzi keeps moving.

Uzi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Carter doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Carter manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Uzi has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Carter slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Carter connects with a good right hand that stumbles Uzi. Uzi circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

and Carter counters with a right hand from hell and Uzi is out cold! A vicious knockout!
