Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brian Sassaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryu Chyn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sassaki comes to the cage accompanied by Mag - Vale Tudo. Ryu Chyn is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chyn looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chyn wants to pass the guard but Sassaki is keeping the position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Chyn sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Sassaki perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Sassaki seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Chyn does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Sassaki thows a huge punch but Chyn dodges it nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chyn has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sassaki is working away from the top position though.

That was a close round but I would say that Brian Sassaki will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Let's hope that Chyn has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Chyn throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sassaki's waist but Sassaki gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chyn off to one side.

Chyn is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Sassaki defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Chyn drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Chyn jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Ryu Chyn comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
