Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kobayashi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kim moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Nice body punch from Kim.
Kim throws a nice outside leg kick.
Kobayashi clinches.
Kim lands with a left to the head.
Kim lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
It looks like Masato Kobayashi has been cut.
Kim prevents Kobayashi from breaking the clinch.
Kim keeps control of Kobayashi as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Kim blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kim cracks Kobayashi with a big uppercut, right up the middle and Kobayashi goes down! Oh, he's hurt! He's bigtime hurt! The referee is giving him a chance to get back to his feet - 4,5,6,7, no, he's called it off! Kobayashi wasn't going to make it and the fight is over!
