Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Petrus Tampubolon (ranked 2133 p4p, 1591 weight class) and Goran Acker (ranked 289 p4p, 216 weight class). Goran Acker will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Acker misses with a looping left.
Acker lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Acker throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Tampubolon misses with a jab to the body
and Acker makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Tampubolon throws a sloppy head kick
and Acker counters with a stiff right hand.
Tampubolon pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Acker lands a body shot.
Tampubolon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Nice straight punches there by Acker. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Acker.

Tampubolon fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Acker.

Acker blocks a head kick by Tampubolon.
A little jabbing left from Acker on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Donk. Acker catches Tampubolon right on the button with a cross.
Tampubolon takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Acker throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Tampubolon appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Tampubolon definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Tampubolon punishes Acker's body with a nice straight punch.

Tampubolon throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Acker on the side of the head.
Tampubolon steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Acker.
Acker steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Tampubolon. That one must have hurt.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tampubolon lands with a kick to the temple. Acker shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Tampubolon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Acker tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tampubolon was well out of range. Poor timing from Acker.

and Acker counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Tampubolon lands a big head kick that sends Acker tumbling to the mat! Tampubolon takes a step backwards and waves Acker back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Acker is rocked!
Tampubolon throws a powerful right kick. Acker tried to block low but the kick was high! Acker was taken right off of his feet! Tampubolon jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
