Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Harris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Paul Frehley!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Frehley moves away.
Frehley looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Harris shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Frehley is refusing to be controlled, as Harris sits in half guard.
Frehley is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Frehley looks like he's trying to stand up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Harris wants to control but Frehley is keeping him busy.
Harris takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Harris gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Harris goes for a takedown attempt but Frehley pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Harris shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Frehley's guard.
Harris controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Harris passes Frehley's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Harris working over Frehley with some ground and pound. Frehley looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Harris stalling.
Frehley is trying to control but Harris manages to pass to mount!

Frehley tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Harris is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Frehley is in real trouble.

Harris is riding his opponent, not letting Frehley buck him off.
