Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Albert Einstein (ranked 1806 p4p, 1430 weight class) and Tobias Berge (ranked 219 p4p, 181 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Albert Einstein! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tobias Berge! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Santiago Holmes and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Berge tries to clinch but Einstein is having none of it. Berge instigates a clinch. Einstein is trying to trip Berge. He has hold of a leg but Berge is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Einstein persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Berge throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Berge has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Elite Island Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Berge has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Einstein can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Berge throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Einstein definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Einstein wants to pass the guard but Berge is keeping the position.

Einstein got a little sloppy there for a moment and Berge has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Einstein has managed to get both his arms back between Berge's legs - danger averted. Berge is looking for a triangle but Einstein pushes his legs off easily.
Einstein passes easily into side control. Nice work. Einstein scoring with punches and elbows. Einstein tries to move into full mount but can't pass Berge's legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Berge takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Einstein tries to advance to mount but Berge denies him. Einstein advances nicely into full mount. Einstein swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Berge is now in Einstein's guard. A big mistake from Einstein there, giving up the dominant position! Berge works a leg free and moves into half guard. Berge is trying to control. Einstein wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Einstein keeping control of the position. Berge is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are battling for position here. Einstein manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Einstein looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Einstein is pulling down on Berge's head to control his posture. Einstein tries to land a sweep but no joy. Berge tries to free his leg and advance position but Einstein is retaining full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Einstein lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Einstein lands a couple of decent looking shots. Einstein has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Einstein stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Berge swivels though and keeps the full guard. Einstein wants to control from the top but Berge keeps moving. Berge looking for subs off his back but Einstein has passed one foot through into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Einstein throwing shots but Berge is blocking nicely. Einstein content to control rather than advance. Berge is looking to control Einstein's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Berge avoid being mounted? Einstein wants to pass to mount but Berge is defending the position. Berge is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Einstein pulls his head out easily. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ground and pound from Einstein. Einstein scores with a couple of good hammerfists. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Einstein attempts a counter takedown but Berge avoids it well and moves away. Einstein darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Einstein trying to control from half guard but Berge is working away. Berge trying to hold on to Einstein's head to control him but Einstein postures up.
Einstein content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Einstein seems to be working for a kimura but Berge defends the submission attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Einstein is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Einstein lands a couple of good shots and Berge has given up his back, trying to escape the position! I would not like to be Berge right now.
Berge just trying to survive but Einstein is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Einstein looking to break Berge's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Berge remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Einstein will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Berge tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Einstein scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Berge?
Berge tries to lock up and control but Einstein gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Einstein lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Einstein dominating with strikes here. Einstein cracks Berge with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Einstein lands a nice shot to the head. Albert Einstein overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Einstein unloading with bombs! Einstein working away from the top, dropping strikes. Einstein lands a heavy elbow. Einstein tries to control but Berge wriggling away. Einstein lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Berge is rocked! Einstein cracks Berge with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Albert Einstein! Albert Einstein decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well. In defeat, Tobias Berge stepped up to the mic, saying 'It's whatever man. I'm gonna go smoke some weed after I get home and forget this ever happened.'.
