Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Patrice Devereaux (ranked 4504 p4p, 5597 weight class) and Zachary Crawford (ranked 0 p4p, 257 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Devereaux has his foot on Crawford's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Crawford works his way back into a safe position though.
Crawford is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Devereaux is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Devereaux might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Devereaux bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Crawford's guard.

Devereaux stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Crawford swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Devereaux drops back looking for a leg! Crawford is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Crawford manages to kick Devereaux off! Devereaux jumps back into Crawford's guard.

Crawford is looking for a sweep. Devereaux is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Devereaux wants to take a breather but Crawford is having none of it.

Devereaux is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Crawford doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Devereaux.
Crawford felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
