Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xxx Xxx (ranked 6624 p4p, 24437 weight class) and Xxx Xxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 26 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 19 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Nice sprawl there from Fighter B as Fighter A shoots in. Fighter B thinks about the counter body kick. Fighter A fails with the takedown. Fighter A fails with the takedown and Fighter B counters with a straight punch to the midsection. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xxx Xxx. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Fighter B tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Fighter A is in Fighter B's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B wants to stand up but Fighter A is controlling him. Fighter A is fighting to break Fighter B's control of his arms but Fighter B is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fighter B can do anything to dispel that myth. Fighter A trying to stand up but can't free himself from Fighter B's guard. Fighter B pulls Fighter A in close to prevent any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Fighter A throws an elbow that misses. Fighter B uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Fighter A's guard. Nice move by Fighter B! Fighter A working a defensive guard here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Fighter A wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Fighter B manages to pass to side control. Fighter A is looking to control Fighter B's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Fighter A avoid being mounted?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Fighter B thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Fighter A is trying to escape back to his feet but Fighter B uses the scramble to pass into side control.
You can see the frustration on Fighter A's face as Fighter B controls the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Fighter A shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fighter B but Fighter B pushes him off and we're back to square one. Fighter B fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Fighter A jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Fighter B!
That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Fighter B's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fighter A controlling the position. Fighter A wants to stand but Fighter B is controlling his arm.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Fighter B can't do much from the bottom here. Fighter A stands up. Fighter A fails with a takedown attempt. Fighter B replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Fighter A blocks it well. Fighter A shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fighter B pinned against the cage. Fighter B gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. And Fighter B responds with a good body kick, but Fighter A manages to step out the way in time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xxx Xxx. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Fighter B is trying to counter with his kicks. Fighter B drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fighter A struggling a bit here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Fighter B throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Fighter A is trying to get back to half guard. Fighter B takes a little break here. Fighter A wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter A wants to control but Fighter B postures up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx dominated that second round. That's time! Fighter A's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round! Fighter B throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Fighter A counters with a nice double leg into side control. Fighter B won't be happy with that. Fighter A tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Fighter B struggling a bit here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A tries to stand but Fighter B is controlling his head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A trying to control the action but Fighter B is working from the bottom. Xxx Xxx overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Fighter B is trying to control Fighter A's posture but Fighter A avoids it. Fighter B has one of Fighter A's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Fighter A takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Fighter A will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Fighter B replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Fighter A blocks it well. Fighter B throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Fighter A was covering up waiting for the punch and Fighter B finishes the takedown easily into guard. Fighter A wants to get back to his feet but Fighter B passes into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Fighter A looks like he's trying to stand up.
Fighter A pushes Fighter B off but Fighter B dives into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Fighter B working away. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Xxx Xxx. I think Fighter A has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
