Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kova Luu (ranked 3699 p4p, 6516 weight class) and Bingles Shmingles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shmingles has closed the distance and engaged Luu in a clinch.
Luu misses with a hook from the clinch.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Shmingles has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Shmingles has Luu pushed against the cage.
Luu lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Luu tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Luu gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
The referee is keeping an eye on Shmingles - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Shmingles is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Luu to keep the fight standing.

Shmingles is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
