Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between New Breed One (ranked 793 p4p, 1034 weight class) and Bernhard River (ranked 93 p4p, 124 weight class). River comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Metallica: Enter Sandman kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, New Breed One!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 10 - 1, fighting out of New York, Bernhard River!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from River.

One clinches up with River and pushes him back against the cage.
Our sources have told us that One has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.

New Breed One seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

One tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. River manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

River scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

River has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

River lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

New Breed One has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bernhard River.

One has closed the distance and engaged River in a clinch.

River has hold of one of One's legs. One is fighting the takedown attempt but River gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
One wants to get back to his feet but River passes into half guard.

Bernhard River comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got River winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
