Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jakub Sebastian (ranked 4828 p4p, 5098 weight class) and Spencer Ruiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jakub Sebastian! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Spencer Ruiz! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Wagner Zegers and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Sebastian. Ruiz is trying to get back to half guard. Ruiz is not content to let Sebastian control the position. Sebastian misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Ruiz is not content to let Sebastian control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sebastian remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sebastian tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sebastian has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's one minute gone in the round. Sebastian tries for a kimura but Ruiz is defending well. Ruiz wants to get back to his feet but Sebastian is dominant here and he's now got Ruiz's back! Sebastian scores with punches from the back.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Sebastian gets his hands free as Ruiz looks to control. Sebastian really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Ruiz. Sebastian is working hard for the rear naked choke here.

Ruiz trying to control but not successfully. Ruiz is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Sebastian gets his way!
Ruiz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sebastian. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ruiz defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Sebastian's arms. Ruiz just trying to survive but Sebastian is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sebastian trying to control. Sebastian has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Sebastian's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
