The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Lancaster shoots and misses
and Lancaster takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like James Lancaster has been cut.
Lancaster fails with the takedown
and McCork counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and McCork counters with a nice double leg into guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McCork content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Lancaster is rocked!
McCork trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
McCork is fighting to break Lancaster's control of his arms but Lancaster is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells McCork's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Oh Lancaster is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Lancaster utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Lancaster wants to get back to his feet but McCork is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Lancaster seems to have got his legs back now.
McCork throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
McCork is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
McCork arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Lancaster's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
