And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Barnes!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Igor Prikhodko and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Avetisyan does no damage.
Barnes looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
A big left from Avetisyan misses.
Barnes throws a leg kick but Avetisyan sees it coming and moves out of range.
Avetisyan is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Avetisyan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Avetisyan connects with a body shot.
Avetisyan looks to land a left hand but Barnes moved out of range nicely.
Barnes bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Avetisyan throws a leg kick but Barnes moved away.
Avetisyan loads up on a big right hand but Barnes slips the punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Avetisyan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Barnes throws a big counter head kick but Avetisyan avoids it with no problem.
Avetisyan blocks a low kick nicely.
Avetisyan dodges the punch combination from Barnes.

Barnes fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Avetisyan looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Barnes connects with an inside leg kick.
Barnes throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Barnes has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Avetisyan misses with a straight left.
A low kick lands for Avetisyan.
Barnes throws a sloppy head kick and Avetisyan moves out of range easily.
Barnes throws a leg kick that is checked
and Avetisyan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Avetisyan scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Barnes throws a leg kick that is checked
and Avetisyan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Barnes moves away from the strike by Avetisyan.
Barnes looks to land a combination but Avetisyan avoids it well.

Avetisyan fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Barnes sends Avetisyan crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Barnes is motioning to the referee to let Avetisyan up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Avetisyan is rocked!
It looks like Edgar Avetisyan has been cut.
Barnes shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Oh Avetisyan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Barnes moves in close and cracks Avetisyan with a massive right hand! Avetisyan, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Barnes!
