Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ali Aki (ranked 5694 p4p, 24451 weight class) and Mister Twister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mister Twister is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ali Aki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mister Twister!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aki has a takedown stuffed.
Aki tries to clinch up
and Twister makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Twister dives in and scores a takedown into Aki's guard.
Aki is breathing heavily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Aki has momentary wrist control but Twister slips an elbow through the middle.

Twister is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Twister can't control as he wanted to and Aki manages to get the fight back to his half guard.

Twister slips a nice elbow through Aki's hands, connecting with Aki's forehead.

Aki knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Twister on the ground.

Twister is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Twister has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Twister is keen to just control but Aki is a slippery customer.

Aki is staying active underneath Twister, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Twister is nestled in close to Aki, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Aki might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Twister is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Aki has managed to free his arm - good work.

and Twister counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Twister shoots in and bounces Aki off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Aki kicks Twister off and gets to his feet.
Twister slips a jab and a cross from Aki.
Twister fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Aki to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Aki looks to clinch but Twister throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Aki taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Mister Twister!
