Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Semmy Cobb (ranked 1370 p4p, 3611 weight class) and Dustin Kruger (ranked 204 p4p, 436 weight class). Cobb comes to the cage accompanied by You dropped the Bomb on me. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 46 - 24 - 2, fighting out of London, Dustin Kruger!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Ben Watson and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kruger throws a head kick but Cobb moves out of range.
Kruger misses with the body kick
letting Cobb counter with a right hand.
Kruger closes the distance but Cobb moves to the side
and Cobb counters with a nice body shot.
Kruger misses with a hook to the body
and Cobb counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Kruger tries to clinch
and Cobb counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kruger thinking.
Kruger tries a head kick but it misses.
Cobb circles away from the clinch attempt
and Cobb counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Kruger looks winded!
Cobb lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Kruger sprawling to the canvas. Cobb follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Kruger hang on?
Kruger is rocked!
It looks like Dustin Kruger has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cobb not doing much here.
Kruger is still in real trouble! Can Cobb finish him?
Kruger seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cobb frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Cobb controlling from mount.
Cobb swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Kruger is now in Cobb's guard. A big mistake from Cobb there, giving up the dominant position!
Kruger lands a couple of decent looking shots.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cobb wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Kruger throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Kruger is looking to work some ground and pound but Cobb has wrist control.
Cobb looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kruger is one step ahead there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kruger trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Cobb pulls Kruger in close to prevent any damage.
Cobb has a closed guard, preventing Kruger from standing up.

Cobb wants to sweep here but Kruger controlling him for the moment.
Cobb manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Kruger swings widly with a right hand
and Cobb counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Kruger clinches.
Cobb escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cobb dodges the punch combination from Kruger.
A quick step to the side and Cobb tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kruger wants to clinch
and Cobb counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Cobb throws a right hand that Kruger ducks under and follows up with a left that Kruger also avoids with ease.
Cobb looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kruger on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Cobb moves out of range of the body kick.
Cobb throws a big counter combination but Kruger scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Kruger tries to clinch but Cobb moves away
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kruger walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Kruger moves to clinch but Cobb breaks away
and Cobb cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Cobb knocks Kruger out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Semmy Cobb!
Semmy Cobb was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
