Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Mendez (ranked 832 p4p, 1533 weight class) and Zahn Dingo (ranked 127 p4p, 223 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dingo fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Mendez checks it well.

Mendez definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Dingo throws a looping overhand right but Mendez ducks down to avoid it.

It looked like Mendez was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Dingo.

Mendez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dingo tries to avoid it but Mendez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dingo to the ground. Dingo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mendez is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dingo.
Mendez walks into a left hand.
Mendez closes the distance and clinches up with Dingo, looking for a takedown. Mendez pushes Dingo against the cage but Dingo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Dingo throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Mendez was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Dingo throws a lazy right hand but Mendez sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Dingo shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Dingo feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Mendez sprawling to the canvas! Mendez rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Dingo finish him?!

Zahn Dingo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nice uppercut lands for Dingo. That snapped Mendez's head back.
Dingo throws a big shot that misses.
Dingo cracks Mendez with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Mendez tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Dingo pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Mendez is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
