The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carvalho misses with the combination.
Swas connects with a leg kick.
Carvalho rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Swas moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Swas feinted with a counter takedown.
Carvalho drops Swas with a nice combination! Carvalho dives into Swas's guard, looking to finish!
Swas is rocked!
It looks like Dalton Swas has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Carvalho postures up, still in guard. A huge hammer fist lands that bounces Swas's head off the mat! Swas is out! He's out! Carvalho jumps to his feet and celebrates with his corner!
