Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lucca Burt (ranked 3042 p4p, 6540 weight class) and Serge Preston (ranked 390 p4p, 641 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lucca Burt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Serge Preston!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Preston shoots in looking for a takedown but Burt manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Preston's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Burt misses with a series of wild punches.
Preston avoids a punch combination nicely.

Preston throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Burt was covering up waiting for the punch and Preston finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Preston looks winded!

Burt has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Preston can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Burt has control of Preston's left arm, preventing Preston from doing any damage.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Burt is on top in guard.

Burt tries to free his leg and advance position but Preston is retaining full guard.

Burt decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Preston, up you get!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Preston on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Burt scores with a hook to the body. Preston takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Preston ducks right into an uppercut from Burt.
Burt looks to land a combination. Preston sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Burt slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Burt throws a combination. Preston tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Burt misses with a double jab.
Burt lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Preston goes down and covers up as Burt starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
