The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conceio circles away from the clinch attempt.
We've been hearing reports that Conceio has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Conceio tries for a takedown but Clive sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Conceio shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Clive manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Clive controls Conceio momentarily but Conceio frees himself.
Conceio is pushing down on Clive's leg trying to pass to half guard. Clive is fighting to maintain full guard but Conceio has managed to sneak the leg through.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Conceio lands a nice short elbow.
Conceio passes to side control.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Conceio lands a nice forearm strike.
Conceio scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Clive to see if he's OK.

Conceio unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Clive wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Conceio celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
