Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyson II (ranked 5733 p4p, 3072 weight class) and Buck Wagner (ranked 172 p4p, 111 weight class). II is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Tyson II is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyson II! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Buck Wagner! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! II moves out of range of the leg kick from Wagner. II is breathing heavily. Wagner closes the distance and clinches. Wagner wants the takedown. II is fighting it off but Wagner persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in II's guard against the cage. Wagner looking to pass the guard. Wagner controls from within his opponent's guard. Wagner trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. II preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wagner working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Wagner controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Wagner throwing strikes from guard but II blocks nicely. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Wagner fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with II, pushing him back against the cage. Wagner has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed II clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Wagner really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for II. Wagner throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Wagner has good solid back control here.

II covering up well under a barage of strikes. Wagner is punishing II with strikes - can he finish him?! What can II do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. II might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Wagner is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. II is defending well though. Wagner let's go of the attempt for now. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. II is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. And that is the end of the round. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Wagner throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
II is looking for a counter combo. Wagner forces II back against the cage and clinches. Wagner has clasped his hands together around II's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wagner slows the pace down. Wagner lands a nice forearm strike. Wagner scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at II to see if he's OK. Buck Wagner has got the better of the ground game so far. II is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Wagner is working II over with some ground and pound from side control. Wagner lands an elbow. Wagner remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Wagner looking to punish the body of his opponent here but II is avoiding damage well.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Wagner closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Wagner lands in his opponent's guard. Wagner postures up and lands a big shot to II's brow. II being controlled here, momentarily. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! II wants to stand and escape but Wagner is having none of it. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Buck Wagner showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round! Wagner shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. A momentary lapse in concentration from II enables Wagner to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. II manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Wagner with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Wagner controlling from the top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. More stalling from Wagner. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Wagner gets in close and instigates a clinch. Wagner jumps guard.
Wagner pulls II in close to prevent any damage. Wagner is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wagner has control of II's left arm, preventing II from doing any damage. II stopping the sweep attempt from Wagner. Wagner is controlling II's posture. Wagner tries to strike from the bottom.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Wagner looking for submissions from the bottom but instead II passes into half guard.
II tries to stand and escape but Wagner is controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wagner is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of II's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take II's back! Wagner punches II on the ear. Wagner has good solid back control here. Wagner thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. A bit of a pause in the action here. Wagner controlling the positon.
That's four minutes gone in the round. II is trying to stand back up. Tyson II has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Buck Wagner is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! Buck Wagner comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Wagner has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
