The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Josh West and Jeff Smith.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Dux shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Stone as he jumps to the side. Stone looking to score a takedown here. Dux is defending well but Stone drives through and ends up in Dux's guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Stone (2) vs (0) Dux Stone looking to pass the guard. Dux trying to keep a closed guard but Stone is proving a slippery customer.
Stone knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dux on the ground. Dux throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dux is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Stone wants to control the position but that's not easy when your opponent is in side control!
