Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dwight Schrute (ranked 25008 p4p, 1082 weight class) and Carlos Compare (ranked 663 p4p, 163 weight class). Schrute comes to the cage accompanied by The Office theme song. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schrute's corner calls for a 1-2. Schrute obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

It looks like Carlos Compare has been cut.
Compare misses with a looping left.
Schrute throws a hook to the side of Compare's head but Compare sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Schrute keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Compare.
Schrute throws the left hand but Compare avoids the punch easily.
Schrute throws a poor cross that misses
and Compare counters with a nice body shot.
Schrute uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Compare.
Schrute throws a lazy uppercut
and Compare connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Dwight Schrute has been cut.
A telegraphed right hand from Compare misses the target.
Schrute works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Compare missing with a left hand there. Schrute was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Compare loads up on a big right hand but Schrute slips the punch.
Compare throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Nice defenses there by Schrute.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Compare let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

Schrute throws an overhand right that lands on Compare's shoulder, as Compare tries to avoid the shot.
Compare swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Compare throws a shot from downtown. Schrute moves away and avoids it.

Oooooh!!! Schrute has knocked Compare down with a huge combo! Schrute steps away and waves a wobbly Compare back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Compare looks to throw the jab but Schrute is out of range.
Compare uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Schrute moves out of range of the strikes.

Compare cracks Schrute with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Schrute looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Compare finish him?

Schrute is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Compare engages and cracks Schrute with a massive lead left hook - Schrute tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Compare is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
