Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mickey Dunhill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Wood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Kevin Wood was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mickey Dunhill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kevin Wood! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dunhill walks into a left hand. Wood misses with a kick to the body.
Wood throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Dunhill looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Dunhill closes the distance and clinches up with Wood, looking for a takedown. Dunhill pushes Wood against the cage but Wood circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Dunhill takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Dunhill wants to clinch up but Wood keeps it at a distance. Dunhill checks a leg kick nicely. Dunhill on the wrong end of a nice hook. Dunhill throws a sloppy head kick and Wood moves out of range easily. Wood lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Dunhill backs up against the cage.
It looks like Mickey Dunhill has been cut. Dunhill is breathing heavily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wood shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Wood with a nice cross. Wood scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dunhill doesn't seem bothered though. Wood lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Dunhill ducks right into an uppercut from Wood.
Dunhill is rocked! Wood pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Wood looks to land a body kick but Dunhill moved away. Wood looks to land a body kick but Dunhill moved away. Dunhill gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Oh Dunhill is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Wood connects with a superb combination that knocks Dunhill out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Wood before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Dunhill!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kevin Wood!
