The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Uchiha with a poor takedown and Alvarez counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Naruto Uchiha has been cut. Uchiha takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Alvarez paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Uchiha looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Uchiha takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Alvarez dances in with a quick combination. Uchiha is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Alvarez snaps Uchiha's head back. Uchiha stumbles backwards against the cage. Alvarez steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Uchiha's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Uchiha just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Saul Alvarez! Saul Alvarez retains his middleweight title! Our winner, Saul Alvarez, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
