Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tomahawk Chai (ranked 3926 p4p, 6025 weight class) and Gio Derzo (ranked 483 p4p, 629 weight class). The key to victory for Tomahawk Chai has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Tomahawk Chai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gio Derzo!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Jonathan Paton and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Derzo lands with a nice combination. Chai backs away looking to recover.
Chai slips under a jab.
Derzo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A slow jab from Derzo misses its intended target.
Derzo throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Chai cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Gio Derzo has been cut.
Chai bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Chai definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

It looked like Chai was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Chai throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Derzo on the side of the head.
That has opened up Gio Derzo's cut even more.

Gio Derzo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chai lands with a hook. Derzo tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Derzo connects with a good right hand that stumbles Chai. Chai circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

and Chai counters with a crisp right hand that drops Derzo! Chai lets Derzo back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Derzo is still on wobbly legs! Can Chai finish him?
Gio Derzo's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Chai steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Derzo.
Derzo seems to have recovered his senses.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Gio Derzo's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Tomahawk Chai!
Our winner, Tomahawk Chai, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
