The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ournez looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Hampton doesn't manage to clinch there - Ournez circles away.

Ournez moves into the clinch.
Hampton is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Ournez prevents a takedown attempt there.
Ournez is working for takedown but Hampton is calmly controlling the position for now.
Hampton misses with a knee strike.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hampton wants to break free but Ournez has control.

Ournez turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Ournez manages to end up in side control.
Hampton parries the strikes from Ournez easily there. Ournez is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Hampton to escape.

Hampton takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Hampton pushes Ournez away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Ournez gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Ournez is chipping away with strikes.
Hampton seems a little lost for a moment, as Ournez dominates the positioning.
Ournez lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Hampton down.

A big shot lands for Ournez! That's hurt Hampton! Will he recover? Ournez fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
