Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ayala Batistuta (ranked 4594 p4p, 4393 weight class) and Fixen Braus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fixen Braus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ayala Batistuta! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Fixen Braus! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Sergei Dronov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Batistuta throws a head kick that misses. Braus with a lazy takedown attempt and Batistuta counters by moving into the clinch. Braus jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Batistuta walks away with a smile on his face. Braus gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Braus scores with a takedown into Batistuta's guard. Braus lands a couple of decent looking shots. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Braus accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Batistuta wants to stand up but Braus is controlling him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Braus trying to control the position from guard on top but Batistuta is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Braus seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Batistuta might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Batistuta wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Braus manages to pass to side control. Batistuta is trying to stand.
Braus gets to his feet - back to striking we go! A head kick by Batistuta misses and Braus counters with a nice double leg into side control. Batistuta won't be happy with that. Braus working the ground and pound. Braus takes a little break here. Batistuta wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Braus tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Braus has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Batistuta pushes Braus away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Braus gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Braus controls the position. Braus working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Braus has hold of Batistuta's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Batistuta tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Braus cranks the arm and Batistuta screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Batistuta, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Fixen Braus! Fixen Braus bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
