Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Bruno Hogan and Eliza Hachem.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Diaz tries to sprawl but Denghui drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Denghui tries to pass the half guard into mount. Diaz knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Diaz wants to improve his position but Denghui is controlling well.
Diaz won't allow Denghui to pass to mount.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Denghui lands a nice short elbow.

Diaz is trying to maintain the position but Denghui is very close to passing his half guard.

Denghui is pressing down on Diaz's thigh, looking to free his foot. Diaz is holding on for now.
Denghui wants to control but Diaz is keeping him busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Diaz is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Denghui's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Denghui's back!
Diaz is trying to stick to Denghui's back but Denghui is turning into Diaz. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Diaz's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Denghui.
Denghui stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Diaz swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Diaz seems keen to control Denghui's posture.

Denghui shoots for a double leg takedown but Diaz sprawls well. He's pushed Denghui's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Denghui wants the takedown. Diaz is fighting it off but Denghui persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Diaz's guard against the cage.

Diaz doesn't manage to clinch there - Denghui circles away.
It seemed like Denghui was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Diaz takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Diaz uses his free foot to push down on Denghui's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Denghui.
Diaz fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Denghui sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
