Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Cian MccGilroy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hakal Wasli!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MccGilroy takes a shot to the body in his stride.
MccGilroy takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
MccGilroy fails with the takedown
and Wasli counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for MccGilroy!
Wasli has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Wasli shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches MccGilroy napping and manages to drive through into side control!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wasli tries to advance to mount but can't.
MccGilroy manages to work his way to half guard, despite Wasli's best efforts.
MccGilroy wants to control but Wasli is keeping busy.
MccGilroy makes his way to full guard. A much better position for MccGilroy.
Wasli looking to pass the guard.
Wasli must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Wasli controlling from the top position.
MccGilroy has his foot on Wasli's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wasli works his way back into a safe position though.
MccGilroy looking for a guillotine here but Wasli defends easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wasli gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Wasli drives through with a takedown into guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wasli wants to stand but MccGilroy is controlling his posture from full guard.
Wasli has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing MccGilroy to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Wasli is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - MccGilroy pulls down on the head and he's put Wasli to sleep! This one is all over!
