Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dusty Rousey (ranked 6162 p4p, 5210 weight class) and Paddy Sly (ranked 614 p4p, 570 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dusty Rousey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Paddy Sly!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rousey shoots for a takedown but Sly saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Sly forces Rousey back against the cage and clinches.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Sly has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Sly presses Rousey against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Sly lands with a light punch inside.
Sly softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Sly's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sly moves into the clinch successfully.
Sly lands a body shot in the clinch.

Sly lands with a left to the head.

Sly throws a jab when Rousey was well out of range.
It looked like Rousey was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sly swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rousey shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Rousey misses with a kick to the body.
Sly throws a looping overhand right but Rousey ducks down to avoid it.
Rousey keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sly throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Sly has managed to clinch.
Sly tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Rousey's elbow.
Rousey blocks a body shot from Sly.
Sly lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Rousey drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dusty Rousey. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sly lands a body punch in the clinch.
Rousey is breathing heavily.
Sly breaks the clinch.
Paddy Sly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rousey slips a straight right by Sly.
Rousey tries to clinch but fails miserably
enabling Sly to counter with a crisp jab.

Rousey will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Sly is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Paddy Sly is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rousey changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Sly fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Rousey walks into a straight right hand from Sly.
Sly bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Rousey's head backwards.
Rousey gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Rousey is rocked!
Rousey gets tackled into the cage by Sly. Sly maintains the clinch.
Oh Rousey is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sly creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Rousey's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Rousey drops to his knees and Sly pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Paddy Sly!
