Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Olavi Eriksson (ranked 5105 p4p, 5106 weight class) and Mika Lehto (ranked 500 p4p, 501 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Olavi Eriksson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mika Lehto! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive. Eriksson tries to clinch there but Lehto circles away.
Eriksson sets himself, and Lehto steps forward looking for the clinch! Eriksson avoids it this time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Eriksson throws a shot from downtown. Lehto moves away and avoids it. Lehto wants to counter with a clinch but Eriksson pushes him away. Lehto lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lehto lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Eriksson throws a poor cross that misses
and Lehto counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Eriksson swings widly with a right hand
and Lehto counters with a lovely straight right hand! Lehto tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Eriksson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. It looked like Eriksson wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Lehto looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Lehto is looking to clinch but Eriksson is avoiding it.
A little feinted left hand from Eriksson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Lehto tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eriksson takes a jab right on the kisser.
Lehto is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Eriksson is looking to counter the offense by Lehto and move into the clinch. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Lehto connects with a nice looking jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Eriksson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Eriksson tries to move into range but Lehto moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Eriksson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Eriksson wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Mika Lehto dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Lehto tries to clinch but Eriksson is having none of it. Eriksson tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Lehto manages to circle out of the way. Lehto lands a jab to the head.
Eriksson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lehto tries to clinch but Eriksson moves out of range. An attempted straight right counter from Eriksson misses the target. This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Eriksson might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big right from Eriksson misses. Lehto wants to counter with a clinch but Eriksson pushes him away. Lehto doesn't manage to clinch there - Eriksson circles away.
Eriksson throws a hook but Lehto blocks it. Lehto tries to counter by closing the distance. Eriksson closes the distance but Lehto moves to the side letting Lehto counter with a right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Eriksson takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Lehto darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Lehto keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Eriksson.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lehto connects with a good right hand that stumbles Eriksson. Eriksson circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Lehto doesn't manage to clinch there - Eriksson circles away.
Eriksson misses with a right hand and Lehto counters with a lovely straight right hand! Eriksson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Lehto to score with a decent uppercut.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lehto moves in looking to clinch but Eriksson pushes him off. Lehto wants to clinch. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Mika Lehto showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round! Lehto's corner calls for a 1-2. Lehto obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lehto is looking to clinch but Eriksson is avoiding it.

That's one minute gone in the round. Eriksson misses with a right hand and Lehto counters with a nice uppercut. Lehto cracks Eriksson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Eriksson darts in trying to clinch and Lehto counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Eriksson swats away the attempt to clinch by Lehto. Eriksson is looking to counter the offense by Lehto and move into the clinch. Lehto lunges at Eriksson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Eriksson's hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eriksson closes the distance looking to clinch and Lehto counters with a lovely straight right hand!

And that's the end of the fight! Mika Lehto comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Lehto has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
