Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Lummer (ranked 6160 p4p, 5849 weight class) and D.D Panda (ranked 0 p4p, 601 weight class). D.D Panda has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Dave Lummer's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dave Lummer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, D.D Panda! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Paul Gruel and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Panda closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lummer to the mat! Lummer manages to get full guard. Panda pushing down on Lummer's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Panda perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Panda's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lummer tries to roll over but Panda keeps him under control. Panda performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lummer has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Panda is working away from the top position though. Panda works his way into side control. Lummer's coaches at Milkys Cave have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. You can see the frustration on Lummer's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The referee asks Panda politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Panda prefers to stall for the moment though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Lummer steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Panda. Lummer seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Lummer throws a left and a right that both miss
and Panda counters with a shoot takedown. Lummer fights it but they end up in guard. Panda content to stall in guard here. Lummer will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Panda advances to half guard. Panda passes to full mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Panda controlling from the full mount. Lummer really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Panda controlling the pace for now. Lummer is just holding on here. Panda manages to take his back.
Panda has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Lummer's body.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
D.D Panda dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Panda comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Panda drives through and clinches with Lummer against the cage.

Lummer is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Panda has been the more effective fighter overall so far. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Panda is struggling to control the position. The crowd are getting on Panda's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by D.D Panda. Lummer takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lummer doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Panda closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Lummer's guard. Panda is standing up over Lummer. Lummer looks to escape but Panda dives into side control.
Panda working away. Panda taking a breather here. Lummer looking for a sweep but Panda has passed into full mount! Oh no! Panda controlling the pace for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Let's hope that Panda has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Panda wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it. Panda takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Panda takes Lummer's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Lummer is in trouble.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Panda is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

D.D Panda showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round! Panda scores with a shot to the body.
Panda looks to land a right hand but Lummer moved out of range. It looked like Lummer was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Panda decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Panda passes to full mount! Panda sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Panda.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Panda avoids the attempt from Lummer to control. Panda controlling the pace for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. D.D Panda has got the better of the ground game so far. Panda manages to capitalize on a mistake by Lummer to take his back! You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Panda has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Lummer is defending well but eventually Panda manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Lummer has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
