Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zabit Magomedov (ranked 1582 p4p, 2350 weight class) and Greg Fitzgerald (ranked 226 p4p, 300 weight class). Fitzgerald has chosen It's Bedtime by Ninja Sex Party as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitzgerald misses with a lunging right hand
enabling Magomedov to counter with a crisp jab.
Fitzgerald looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Magomedov throws a hook but Fitzgerald avoids it easily.
Fitzgerald throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Magomedov connects with a looping right hand.
Fitzgerald is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Magomedov moves into range and connects with a jab.
Zabit Magomedov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fitzgerald throws a body kick that misses
and Magomedov cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Fitzgerald will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Fitzgerald feints a jab promting Magomedov to slip. Fitzgerald then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Magomedov slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like Zabit Magomedov has been cut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A relieved looking Zabit Magomedov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Greg Fitzgerald was interviewed post fight and said 'I love getting in here and trying to take someone's head off every time, but I'm getting old. Guess I'm just a stepping stone now. '.
