Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rogerio Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Black's choice of entrance music: IronMan. Rogerio Alves has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rogerio Alves! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jack Black! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Matheus Silva and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alves tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Black swivels and escapes. Black shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Alves looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Alves has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Black can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Alves throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Alves is looking for a triangle but Black pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alves has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Black can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Alves will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Alves is breathing heavily. Black slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Alves looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Black stays in close to Alves's body and controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Alves had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Black is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Alves Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Black's back instead. Black trying to control the hands but Alves breaks the grip.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Black really must keep his cool here. He's controlling one of Alves's hands and whilst he does that, he's got a chance of escaping the position.
Despite being in the dominant position, Jack Black just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Black closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Black is pressing down on Alves's thigh, looking to free his foot. Alves is holding on for now. Alves has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Black is working away from the top position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Black dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Black feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Black controls from within his opponent's guard. Alves is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Alves is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alves escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Black gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Black sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Alves is trying to control the position but Black postures up. Black looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Alves has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Black can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Black sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Black must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Black showed some decent athleticism there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Black showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Black shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Black was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Black takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Alves sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alves is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Black really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Alves. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Alves actively working from the bottom here. Black sitting and controlling from the half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Black's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Alves is trying to maintain the position but Black is very close to passing his half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Black in particular looking to stall.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Alves actively working from the bottom here. Alves is looking for a sweep. Black is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Jack Black has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Alves wants to control but Black is keeping busy.
Black stalling. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! Jack Black comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Black has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
