Falcon comes to the cage accompanied by O Retrô Ativo - Heróis do Status Quo. Jack Falcon could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Brownie Anderson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Falcon!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brownie Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, William Peck and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
No luck for Falcon with that takedown attempt.
Falcon misses with a two punch combination.
Falcon shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Anderson as he avoids it easily.
Falcon shoots in for a double leg but Anderson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Falcon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Anderson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Falcon.
Anderson moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Jack Falcon has been cut.
Some wild striking there from Falcon.
Falcon thows a left - swing and a miss!
Anderson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Falcon shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Anderson pinned against the cage. Anderson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
We've been told by Falcon's head coaches at Kaptajnernes Træningscenter that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Anderson defending well as Falcon loads up on a big left hand.
Falcon throws a series of punches but Anderson moves out of range.

Anderson looks to land a combination but Falcon avoids it well.
Falcon fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Anderson avoids it really well and circles away.
Falcon misses with a few strikes there.
Falcon throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Anderson's waist but Anderson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Falcon off to one side.
Anderson throws a jab but it's blocked by Falcon.
Falcon half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Anderson gets caught flat footed, as Falcon shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Anderson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Anderson is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Falcon trying to control but Anderson is working from the bottom.

Falcon throwing strikes from guard but Anderson blocks nicely.
Anderson wants to get back to his feet but Falcon is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Falcon misses with a shot to the body
and Anderson counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Falcon thinking.
Sloppy strikes from Anderson. Those never looked like landing.
Anderson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Anderson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Falcon fails with a takedown attempt.
Brownie Anderson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A telegraphed right hand from Falcon misses the target.

Anderson looks to score with a jab to the body but Falcon is just out of range.
Falcon changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Falcon on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Falcon shoots in for a double leg but Anderson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Falcon misses the jab.
Anderson moves away from the strike by Falcon.
Anderson misses with a wild combination.
Falcon takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Falcon dives in and grabs Anderson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Anderson pushes down on Falcon's head and hops out.
Falcon shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Anderson as he avoids it easily.
Falcon lands with a kick to the temple. Anderson shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Anderson lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Anderson misses with a body kick.
Falcon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Anderson circles away quickly and effectively.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Anderson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Good shot there by Falcon.
Falcon avoids the head kick by Anderson.
Anderson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Anderson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Falcon throws a sloppy head kick and Anderson moves out of range easily.
Falcon misses with a takedown attempt
letting Anderson counter with a right hand.
Anderson checks a leg kick.
Despite the aggression on Anderson's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Anderson lands a nice shot that snaps Falcon's head back.

Falcon is rocked!
Anderson is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Falcon hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Brownie Anderson!
Brownie Anderson is the new welterweight champion!
A relieved looking Brownie Anderson thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
