Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Toyotomi Ieyasu (ranked 4205 p4p, 3125 weight class) and Wilbur Ratt (ranked 454 p4p, 352 weight class). Ieyasu comes to the cage accompanied by Traitors by Homemade Weapons. Toyotomi Ieyasu had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Toyotomi Ieyasu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wilbur Ratt!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Hugh Johnson and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ieyasu closes the distance and clinches.
Ratt tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Ieyasu scores with a shoulder strike.
Ratt misses with a short punch on the inside.
Ratt tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Ieyasu's elbow.
Ieyasu breaks the clinch.
Ratt scores with a jab to the body.
Ratt tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Ieyasu uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ratt.
Ieyasu swats away the attempt to clinch by Ratt.
Ratt throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ratt tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ieyasu swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ieyasu feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ratts jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Wilbur Ratt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ieyasu is trying to trip Ratt. He has hold of a leg but Ratt is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Ieyasu persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Ieyasu is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ratt is just riding it out for now. Ieyasu eventually gives up the hold.

Ieyasu seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ratt does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

That was a close round but I would say that Toyotomi Ieyasu will probably get the nod.

Ieyasu's jab looks to have found its range, popping Ratt under the eye.
Ratt moves in looking to clinch but Ieyasu pushes him off.

A nice left hand lands by Ratt.
Ieyasu jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ratt walks away with a smile on his face. Ieyasu gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Ieyasu fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ratt looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Ieyasu avoids the body shot from Ratt.
Ieyasu uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ratt.

Ratt moves into the clinch.
Wilbur Ratt seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
A short uppercut from Ieyasu.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Ratt.
Ieyasu fails to pull guard.
Ieyasu wants to take the fight to the mat but Ratt manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Ieyasu seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

and Ratt counters with a series of strikes. Ieyasu will be more careful next time no doubt.

and Ieyasu counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ratt won't be happy with that.

Ieyasu is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ratt defends it well.

Wilbur Ratt showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Ratt can't find room to land a body shot as Ieyasu controls the action.
Ieyasu has Ratt pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Ieyasu pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Ratt tumbling to the mat - Ieyasu dives into Ratt's guard.
Ieyasu throws an elbow that misses. Ratt uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ieyasu's guard. Nice move by Ratt!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ieyasu thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Ratt has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Ratt controls from within his opponent's guard.
Ratt wants to pass the guard but Ieyasu is keeping the position.
Ieyasu looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Ratt has picked Ieyasu up and slammed him! Ieyasu can't keep hold of the triangle and Ratt manages to pass to side control!
Wilbur Ratt has got the better of the ground game so far.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Ratt is looking to take a break and control but Ieyasu is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Wilbur Ratt comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Ratt has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
