Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Kolov (ranked 4054 p4p, 4275 weight class) and Youta Himura (ranked 484 p4p, 505 weight class). Youta Himura will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kolov takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Kolov lands a slapping body shot.

Dan Kolov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kolov steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Himura. That one must have hurt.

Himura fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kolov on the side of the head.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Himura has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Kolov closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Kolov creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Himura's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Himura drops to his knees and Kolov pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
