The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santiago lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
McKnight fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

McKnight tries to move into range but Santiago moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
McKnight shoots in looking for a takedown. Santiago tries to sprawl out of it but McKnight keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Santiago manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Raul Santiago has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jashon McKnight.
