Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Warren Westside (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Javier Vega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Westside might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Trick Daddy ft. Lil' Jon & Twista - Let's Go. Javier Vega will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Warren Westside! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Javier Vega! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Richard Clark and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Westside rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Vega moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Westside closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Vega wants to get back to full guard. Vega looking for submissions off his back. Vega is trying to get back to full guard. Westside is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Vega is just riding it out for now. Westside eventually gives up the hold. Westside stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Vega darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Vega uses his free foot to push down on Westside's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Westside. Westside really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Vega is trying to take his opponent's back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vega working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Vega looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Westside keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Westside flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Westside is trying desperately to improve position. Westside is breathing heavily. Vega punching from mount but Westside doing a good job of avoiding damage. Vega is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Westside throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Westside gets a takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vega trying to control here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Vega gets full guard. Vega is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Westside avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Vega. Westside makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Westside. Westside had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Vega is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Westside Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Vega's back instead. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Vega is trying to defend against the choke here but Westside has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Westside Tightens the hold and Vega taps out furiously! Westside displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Warren Westside!
