Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andre Powell (ranked 3346 p4p, 1684 weight class) and Wes Ekwall (ranked 132 p4p, 61 weight class). Ekwall has chosen Enter the Sandman as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andre Powell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wes Ekwall! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ekwall lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Powell circles away quickly and effectively. Ekwall throws a head kick that misses. Some wild striking there from Ekwall.
Ekwall throws a body kick that misses. Ekwall connects with a jab. We've been hearing reports that Powell has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. A big left from Ekwall misses. Powell was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Ekwall with a hook.
It looks like Andre Powell has been cut. Ekwall has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Ekwall throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Powell. Powell lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ekwall circles away quickly and effectively. Powell smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Ekwall feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Powell sprawling to the canvas! Powell rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Ekwall finish him?!
Powell is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ekwall misses with the combination.
A little feinted left hand from Powell on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Oh Powell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Ekwall tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Ekwall plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Powell to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Powell just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
