Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Christ (ranked 2369 p4p, 2948 weight class) and Hermann Oestergaard (ranked 298 p4p, 372 weight class). Jon Christ has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jon Christ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hermann Oestergaard! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Christ swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Oestergaard throws a leg kick and Christ counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Oestergaard looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Oestergaard fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Christ, pushing him back against the cage. Christ escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Oestergaard tries to clinch but Christ moves out of range. Oestergaard throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Christ's waist but Christ gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Oestergaard off to one side. Christ connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Oestergaard momentarily.
Christ misses with a right hand and Oestergaard counters with a right hand to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Oestergaard gets in close and instigates a clinch. Christ misses with a punch to the body.
Oestergaard blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Oestergaard tries to pull guard but Christ won't allow it.
Jon Christ has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hermann Oestergaard. Christ manages to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jab from Christ. Oestergaard darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Christ is looking to escape. Christ is not content to let Oestergaard control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Oestergaard prevents Christ from standing back up.
Oestergaard throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Christ wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Christ waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Oestergaard. Oestergaard is looking to clinch. Oestergaard fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Christ bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Oestergaard's head. Oestergaard uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Christ. Oestergaard tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Christ throws a shot to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Christ throws a jab but it's blocked by Oestergaard. Oestergaard throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A head kick misses from Oestergaard. Oestergaard shoots and misses and Christ counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Christ throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Oestergaard on the side of the head. Oestergaard fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Christ drops Oestergaard with a huge uppercut! Oestergaard drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Christ is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jon Christ! After winning the bout, Jon Christ thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
