Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richard Anderson (ranked 3328 p4p, 3844 weight class) and John Amery (ranked 127 p4p, 145 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Richard Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Amery!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amery takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Anderson with a nice cross.
Amery throws a series of punches but Anderson moves out of range.
It looked like Anderson was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Amery.
Anderson connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Anderson throws a shot to the body.
Anderson lands a jab to Amery's midsection.
Anderson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Anderson lands a body shot.
Anderson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Anderson is looking to wear down Amery with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Anderson bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Amery! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

Amery is rocked!
Anderson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Amery is still in real trouble! Can Anderson finish him?
Anderson advances position into side control!
Amery seems to have recovered his senses.
Amery is looking to reverse the position.
Amery prevents Anderson from improving position.

Anderson working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Anderson passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Amery!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Anderson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Amery is looking to escape.
Amery is trying to escape the mount.
Anderson controlling the position easily from mount.

Anderson with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Anderson trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Amery sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Amery wants to improve his position but Anderson is controlling well.
Amery gets back to full guard.
Amery keeping moving, preventing Anderson from controlling successfully.

Amery had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Anderson defends it easily.

Amery looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Amery escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Anderson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Anderson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Amery has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Anderson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Anderson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Amery doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Anderson.

Amery is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Anderson pulls his head out easily.

Anderson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Amery doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Anderson.
Amery felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Anderson moves into full mount! Amery won't be happy about that!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Amery takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Anderson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Amery manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Anderson punishes Amery's body with a nice straight punch.
Amery lands the left hand.
Anderson moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Amery waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Anderson.
Anderson misses with a wild body shot.
John Amery is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Amery misses with a looping right.

Anderson drops Amery with a big left hand and mounts him. Amery is in big trouble!

It looks like John Amery has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Anderson is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Amery is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Amery flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Anderson anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Amery and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Anderson slips an arm under Amery chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Anderson has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Anderson is squeezing on Amery like an anaconda would it's prey. Amery fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Richard Anderson!
During a confident post fight interview, Richard Anderson thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
