Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Andros (ranked 3862 p4p, 1456 weight class) and Daniel Silva (ranked 460 p4p, 195 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nick Andros! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Silva! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva moves into the clinch. Silva drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Andros gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Andros is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Silva is defending well for now. Andros lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Silva jumps guard but Andros stands there with Silva around his waist. Silva gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Silva lands a damaging elbow. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Silva wants the takedown. Andros is fighting it off but Silva persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Andros's guard against the cage. Silva keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Andros's head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Andros throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's one minute gone in the round. Andros has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Silva can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Andros is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Silva has his hands clasped together but Andros extends and breaks Silva's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Andros.
