The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith avoids the body shot from Slaissi.

letting Smith counter with a right hand.
Smith throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bimbo Slaissi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Slaissi was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

Oh Smith is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Slaissi creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Smith with a big uppercut! Smith tries to clinch up but Slaissi pushes him back against the ropes and lands another monster strike that crumples Smith to the mat! Smith covers up and Slaissi unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
