Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Guy Leblond (ranked 5379 p4p, 4007 weight class) and Paulo Kimura (ranked 439 p4p, 380 weight class). Paulo Kimura will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kimura swings for the body but Leblond moves out of range.

Kimura throws a lazy right hand but Leblond sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Kimura goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Kimura lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Leblond circles away quickly and effectively.

and Leblond counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kimura throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Leblond stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Kimura tries to close the distance and clinch but Leblond swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Leblond lands a head kick. Kimura smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Kimura lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Leblond rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kimura moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Leblond's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kimura connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Leblond scrambles back to his feet.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kimura crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Leblond - the referee stops the clock and Kimura gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Leblond. Kimura manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
