Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zack Manning (ranked 4593 p4p, 4602 weight class) and Vinny Carson (ranked 0 p4p, 537 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Zack Manning!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vinny Carson!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Atkins and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid leg kick lands there for Manning.
Manning gets caught napping as Carson dives in and scores a takedown. Manning manages to retain guard.
Manning is looking to stand up but Carson isn't so interested in that idea.
Carson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Carson lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Manning has control of Carson's left arm, preventing Carson from doing any damage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Carson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Manning gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Manning got a little sloppy there for a moment and Carson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Manning has managed to get both his arms back between Carson's legs - danger averted.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Carson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Manning circles away quickly and effectively.

Manning scores with a one two! Carson had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Vinny Carson has been cut.

and Manning counters with a two punch combo.
Manning throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Carson was covering up waiting for the punch and Manning finishes the takedown easily into guard.

A frustrated look appears on Carson's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Manning breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Carson wants to get up but he can't break Manning's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Manning is pressed up against the cage. Carson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Manning down to the mat. Manning avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Well Manning has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
