Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Justin Boyington!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bengt Strom!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The crowd cheers as Boyington lands an impressive looking overhand right. Strom doesn't seem phased though.
Boyington throws a head kick that misses.
Strom avoids the head kick by Boyington.
Boyington lands with a slapping head kick.
Strom has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Boyington finds it's way round the side to connect with Strom's head.
Boyington displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Strom.
Boyington throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Strom's head.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Boyington throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Strom is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
