Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ian Fifer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shelton Lane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fifer comes to the cage accompanied by Can't Be Touched-Roy Jones Jr feat. Tupac. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Ian Fifer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Shelton Lane! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Paul Tew and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lane blocks a head kick by Fifer.
Lane scores a takedown into full mount! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lane with shots to the head and body - Fifer looks very uncomfortable down there. Fifer can't escape the position.
Lane content just to control the position here. Lane scoring with strikes but Fifer is staying in there. Lane pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Fifer takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Fifer is rocked!
It looks like Ian Fifer has been cut. Lane controlling his opponent. Oh Fifer is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Let's hope that Lane has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Lane lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Fifer tries to reverse the position but Lane maintains control. Lane content just to control the position here. Fifer seems to have got his legs back now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fifer is looking to improve his position but Lane isn't that keen on the idea. Lane content just to control the position here. Lane with the ground and pound from mount. Lane looking to control and managing it successfully. Lane looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Lane tries to control but Fifer wriggling away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. A nice elbow there by Lane. Lane landing shots from mount. Lane manages to capitalize on a mistake by Fifer to take his back! Fifer is breathing heavily. Lane looking for the choke but no joy. Lane is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Lane gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Lane gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Lane apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Fifer ducks right into an uppercut from Lane. Fifer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Lane looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fifer is fending him off so far but Lane persists. Nope, Fifer circles away and we're back to standing. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Fifer. Fifer misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ian Fifer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lane moves into range and clinches up with Fifer. Lane drags the fight down to the ground.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Fifer postures up in Lane's guard and throws a big left but Lane blocks it. Fifer wants to stand and escape but instead Lane has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Fifer had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Lane is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Fifer Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Lane's back instead. Fifer avoiding Lane 's attempts to control his hands. Fifer has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Lane is defending well but eventually Fifer manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Lane has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
